DISCIPLE Bible study meets on Monday nights for an introduction to the major themes of the books of the Old and New Testament. This outstanding course will help adults better understand God’s interaction and relationship with humanity throughout Scripture, and will help participants develop the marks of discipleship to which we are called as God’s people.

This course is being offered in a flexible format, so that busy adults may grow in their faith regardless of travel or schedule conflicts. No previous Bible study experience is necessary. We meet in the Church library on Monday nights from 7:00–8:00 PM. DISCIPLE will resume in the fall.

“Women of the Bible”

All women are invited to join us for a monthly hour of reading and discussion on the Biblical, spiritual, historical, literary and socio-cultural perspective of different women of faith. How can they influence and inspire our walks of faith as women in the 21st Century?

This warm group meets in the library on the last Thursday of each month from 9:30–10:30 AM. New friends, family members or visitors are always welcome!

Small group studies as well as short-term, special-interest and continuing Christian education courses are offered periodically throughout the year. These may include topics such as: A Life-Shaping Prayer; The Faith We Sing: Learning from the Hymns of Charles Wesley; Comparative Religion; Geography of the Bible; United Methodism 101.

Individual reading is a fantastic way to supplement your faith journey. A variety of literature is available in the front office, narthex or by speaking to a staff member. We have free pamphlets on Baptism, The Lord’s Supper, United Methodism, The Bible and You and Lent. We also have a variety of gift Bibles available to you. You are welcome to a pick up a bi-monthly copy of The Upper Room, a daily devotional publication (also available in large print) from our office, narthex or chapel.
