Nurture ministries focus on reaching out with prayer, support and encouragement to members and friends of our church. This is done through several committees and teams:

Bereavement Committee members host a reception in Bailey Hall following each funeral service. Please contact Jan Saylor (598-8640) for more information.

Flower Ministry Team prepares flowers from worship to be delivered to individuals who are sick or home bound. Please contact Caroline Nusloch (598-0142).

Meal Ministry Team provides food for families in case of sickness, hospitalization or death. Please contact Carol Diver (598-4896) for more information.

Personal Services Committee provides assistance to members who need help with personal errands such as transportation to and from doctor appointments, shopping and church. Please contact Agi Sutton (598-8258) for more information.

Prayer Ministry Team members receive prayer requests garnered from pew cards, clergy, bulletin    insertions and calls/emails from family and friends. Requests addressed “Clergy Only” do not come to the Prayer Ministry Team. Please contact Peggy Utley (484-0500) for more information.
 

The following support groups meet at our church and are open to all in the community:

Alzheimer’s Cargiver Support Group meets the first Monday of each month from 10:30 AM–Noon in Room 111.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7:30 AM in the Library. They also meet on Tuesdays and Thursday at 5:30 pm.

Al-Anon meets every Monday at 4:00 PM in the Library.

Low Vision Support Group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM.
