We the people of Skidaway Island United Methodist Church are a community in covenant with God. We are people who proclaim the Gospel by our word and actions and as members of the Body of Christ.

The purpose of our church is to

Bring people to Christ (John 20:30–31, Acts 1:8)

Help us grow in our love for God (Matthew 22:36–40)

Demonstrate our love through service to others (John 15:12–13)

The vision of our church is to be a

Welcoming community church

Congregation dedicated to building relationships with Christ and one another

Place that promotes individual spiritual growth

With God’s help we seek to realize our purpose and vision through our worship, education, missions, fellowship and nurture.

When we become a part of a United Methodist congregation, we make a vow to be loyal to that church with our “prayers, presence, gifts and service.”
