It was in the breaking of bread and gathering with the disciples that Jesus was so often revealed to his followers and friends. Many powerful events of the Gospel take place at the table and in the community. Gathering on our church bus with members and friends, we journey together on a regular basis. We value the spiritual growth found in the joy of fellowship.
Due to COVID, our Coffee Hour is not held at this time.
Coffee Hour

Coffee Hour Each Sunday morning following the 10:00 am worship service, we offer a coffee hour in Bailey Hall as an opportunity for our members and guests to gather and connect. Whether it is your first Sunday at SIUMC or you attend regularly, you are encouraged to join us in Bailey Hall for this time of fellowship. Coffee, juice and donuts are always available and friendly faces fill the room! Coffee Hour is also an ideal time to sign up to participate in upcoming events and activities.

Day Trips

Our Fellowship Ministry team coordinates monthly day trips and outings as a way for our church members and friends to become better acquainted with one another. Day trips are communicated through the monthly Parrish Voice as well as the Sunday bulletin and are always open to all who want to participate. Past day trips include visits to historic downtown churches, the Tour of Homes in Beaufort, boat trips to Ossabaw Island, and guided tours of local museums. Transportation is provided on one of our church's buses.
